Earlier this week, I went to Kansas City to see the brilliant Emilie Autumn in concert at the Beaumont Club. I didn’t get to take my D7000 in- just a little point and shoot (a Nikon P300, in my case), but I made the most of what I could with what I had. The pictures needed some fairly heavy-duty post-processing, but I was happy with my results.

And I’ll definitely go see Emilie Autumn the next time she’s in the area!

(I feel like I should put a disclaimer on these- you know, I’m not getting payment for any of these pictures, they were for my own use/entertainment, don’t use them without my permission, and all that…)

Well, at the beginning of the month, I had intended to do a post per day throughout all of January. What I didn’t anticipate was that I would discover that Emilie Autumn, one of my favorite musicians, was going to be performing in Kansas City. So that’s where I’ve been the past couple of days. But I am home now, and while I’m super tired from a late-night, three-hour drive, I plan to finish out the rest of the month with a post per day.
